Reverb

I can't believe what a grumpy old man I've become.  Or maybe it's not me at all but I have noticed a but of noise pollution emanating from people and kids.  Today I was in the Beaverton Public Library and it was so loud.  A couple of idiots (adults) were chatting away on their cell phones inside the fucking library.  Who does that?  Little kids were playfully stomping and jumping, crying and talking loudly, and never a word from their parent.  The kids can be tolerated but the cell phone idiocy sucks.  I didn't see anything or shoot them the stink eye because I had decided that I had my fill of noise pollution.

I came for the farmer's market but today I didn't bother because there was too many people.  I can't even walk anywhere because:

  • People on those scooter chairs . WTF?
  • People who think that carrying their dog in their arms somehow bypasses the No Dogs Allowed signs posted everywhere
Vendors have implemented the World's Smallest Samples.  Now in 2 molecule thick sizes!
I do like open air markets and booths and even the cover bands was all right even if I couldn't tell if it was a Van Morrison tunes or something by Tom Petty.  As congested as this venue gets, it's still preferable to anything in my neck of the woods.
